IL BORGHINO RETREAT CENTRE Literally meaning “small village”, Il Borghino offers a secluded setting in a hill top position with magnificent views overlooking forests, vineyards, olive groves and mountains in the distance. Located just 10 km from the charming medieval city of Lucca, Il Borghino offers an opportunity to truly relax and unwind in a unique location whilst experiencing the best that Tuscany has to offer. With 11 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, our centre can accommodate both small and larger groups.
VILLA BENVENUTI RETREAT CENTRE Villa Benvenuti is a boutique retreat centre in Tuscany offering personalised retreats in a luxurious setting. The fully restored 17th Century villa is part of 28 hectare private estate, completely surrounded by forests and natural woodlands. The villa itself sits high on a hillside overlooking a panorama of olive groves, fruit trees and vineyards. The natural surroundings and secluded setting create an atmosphere of calm and stillness, making it ideal for yoga, spiritual practice or a relaxing holiday. With seven bedrooms and five bathrooms, the retreat centre is ideally suited for smaller group retreats.
Both retreat centres are ideally located 30 minutes from Pisa Airport, 1.5 hrs. from Florence and 1.5 hrs. from the breathtaking Cinque Terre region.
L'Astanga Yoga ha come basi il respiro, il corretto allineamento nelle posture statiche (asana) e il movimento. La
pratica inizia con i saluti al sole (movimenti armonizzati con il respiro), si prosegue con la sequenza di posture come codificata da K.P.Jois, e si finisce con un rilassamento a terra di qualche minuto.
